Scott Crossett and Andrew Howie of IWMG
visited Maputo the capital city of Mozambique. This initial assessment visit was a follow up to an
invitation from the Vice-Minister for Coordination of Environmental Affairs. The Vice-Minister had
invited IWMG to assess the current situation at the cities landfill site. This was with a view to finding
solutions to the current problems. Leading hopefully to the complete remediation of the landfill site.
